From Degraded Land to Thriving Ecosystems | Biodiversity Day 2026
Today, on the International Day for Biological Diversity, we celebrate nature’s incredible resilience, and our responsibility to protect it.
At Neo Terra, we’ve witnessed once-degraded landscapes transform into thriving forest ecosystems through long-term protection, restoration, and science-driven conservation. What was once vulnerable land is now becoming a vital sanctuary for biodiversity and climate resilience.
The South Barito Kapuas (SBK) Project of Nusantara Raya Solusi is now home to:
🌱 231 Flora Species (46 on the RTE list)
🦜 179 Fauna Species (64 on the RTE list)
🦧 28 Mammal Species
🐦 113 Bird Species
🐢 38 Herpetofauna Species
Through a combination of cutting-edge technology, camera trap monitoring, data analysis, and deep local expertise, our conservation teams are documenting nature’s recovery in real time.
Biodiversity is not simply a co-benefit of conservation. It is the foundation of resilient ecosystems and long-term carbon integrity. By protecting and restoring these forests, we are helping secure a future where both people and nature can thrive together.
This journey is ongoing, and every protected hectare matters.
